who are we?
Vesty Firewood Limited was established in April 2018 in Stratford, Taranaki, now trading as Vesty Firewood and Sawmilling in Ngaere, Taranaki
We are a family-owned firewood company built from blood, sweat and tears. We started off with a caged trailer and a small wood splitter utilising fallen trees from a family plot. In 2018 we started our company Vesty Firewood Limited.
As our business and our family grew we decided it was time to find a yard space and expand our machinery. This came with its fair share of challenges and opportunities. After a couple of yard changes and finally outgrowing the yard spaces available, we decided it was time to move our growing family and business rural. In 2020 we moved our family and business into one rural property in Ngaere, Taranaki.
Today we operate from our home in Ngaere with a large yard set up for firewood, but sawmilling timber and slabs and producing some unique furniture.
With the expansion into sawmilling we have found many more amazing regular clients both local and throughout New Zealand.
We look forward to seeing what is to come in the future.
